Rodrigo Oliveira (Sintra, Portugal, 1978) is a multidisciplinary artist known for intentionally employing a diverse range of methods and material supports in his practice. He creates unique and experimental objects through skillful and improvisational techniques. Recently, the artist has dedicated himself to exploring processes of repetition, collection, and serialism, which have become essential elements in his artistic trajectory. Through his art, he raises questions about the hybridization of contemporary culture and the individual condition in a world dominated by the diaspora of political, economic, social, and cultural models.

In this way, Rodrigo Oliveira's art emerges from a place of rediscovery and reconnection with the world. As he himself states, "[Everything is] primarily done without adding anything special or new: just altering an everyday object or... revealing something that is already there." His main working elements are color and the ambiance of space, initiating his creativity from the starting point of what is known: the world itself in which he works.
